The beginning.

This is an experiment.

I've never contributed to a blog before (with the exception of a few comments on my buddy Evan's Rwanda blog), and I'm pretty sure Sarah has never created a personal blog, either — unless there is some secret life she's leading ... where she blogs.

But, we thought this might be a good way to get out information and updates during the next ten months while we all wait anxiously for the wedding. This will also be a good way for you all to post questions for us regarding the wedding, or post things of interest to others like cheap flights or carpooling arrangements, etc. Since it is a destination wedding, there's a lot to coordinate. To post something, just click on the "comments" link below each entry. To view the comments/posts of others, click the same link.

Also, just in case there wasn't enough content about us on the actual wedding site, we'll also (meaning me) post regular updates on what's going on with us and the wedding.

Come to think of it, I'll probably just be writing this for Sarah's mom and mine.

Jason

Bloggers Beware!! We have a noobie
on the loose!! Tee heee :)

I am blogging not to ask questions but to express my excitement both for the wedding (eheheheheeheh! sooooo excited!!) and for this awsome little wedding website that the wonderful Jason has put together. Great Job!! I love it!!

And its making me even more excited for next summer!

The only suggestion I have is....

MORE PICTURES!! I love the ones you already have up (especially the one of you two on the beach in Trinidad...soooo cute!) but maybe you could have an extra link just for us freaks who don't get to see you guys too often...so we can look at them and get all giddy!!

I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

I can't express haw happy I am that you found one another.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

You should post more pictures of the best man on the site. I may not be able to make it to the wedding, because I might be in Yellowstone drilling for oil with Dick Cheney.

Darn, I am new at this blog stuff...had a whole note typed and then needed to sign in...lost everything I said. Now I gotta remember what I wrote...and that sucks!
I laughed and laughed at your comments throughout your site. Very nice website I might add. I am glad you finally found your soul mate Jason! What took you so long to propose?? Did you have to ponder it??? I am sure it was perfect as you imagined it would be. Sarah, I look forward to meeting you! Hold on, cause your in for a great life. ( I was gonna say great ride, but thought it was tacky ) :) I am pleased that your so enviromentally concerned. Are you inviting Al Gore to this event? hehehe or is he going to be filming in Yellowstone?
We will be camping close by. We, Uncle Billy and I look forward to spending some time with you all prior to your wedding. Nice decision to have the wedding in "my backyard". Hopefully the elk will come to pay their respects also.
I will be checking your website for updates.
Jason, your mom is so giddy over your impending wedding! She couldn't wait another minute and called with your website. I opened it up while on the phone with her and she was so happy and almost sounded like she could cry. You know she is gonna want grandchildren ASAP?? right???
Love Aunt Jolene and Uncle Billy

At first I was hesitant to write anything, since I too have never blogged, but then I read where "it" is for me and Jason's mom. Since Sarah was born she has been my number one favorite thing to talk about, think about and worry about so why not write about her too. There are not enough words to express how thrilled I am about absolutely everything to do with THE wedding. I have only one request regarding the wedding web site -- could we have one picture of Jason where I can see his beautiful eyes? Please notice that my one request is about this subject and not my last request relative to any other million or so requests that I will make or it will seem like I make over the next 50 years. I love you both and will be sitting on pins and needles until June 26, 2008.

First of all, Aunt Jolene sounds really cute.
Next up, for those of you 'In the know', Sarah has two moms; me and what's-her-name. This means that Jason will have not one but TWO mother-in-laws. He is brave and willing to face great challenges to be sure...or is he uncommonly dim-witted? Sarah, if this is the case, give me a call; we need to talk! Love, The BEST Mom

Sarah and Jason, Congratulations!!! Sarah, You are a sweetie. I always figured anyone who married you would be very very fortunate. Jason must be very special to be the one chosen by you.

I love the Web Site idea. I look forward to seeing the things you add to the site.
